I had a rough day yesterday but was so blessed to see my 7 year old nephew play baseball at the Purple Heart Park yesterday at 3:15pm. His team is the Cubbies so I was so excited to wear my royal blue Cubs hat with rhinestones on the red C! I was beyond excited for him when he hit a ball so far and got to third base! And I was so so blessed to see my 2 - 5 year old nieces. One of them turned 5 last Aug and the other the day I got out of the hospital 4/10. They were dressed in the same outfits! Cousin love and sister love is the best! I was so happy when my baby sister (19 months younger than me) called me today and I was able to talk to her for a bit in between clients at work. The little girls were just as excited to see me and I received so many tight loving hugs and kisses! They were climbing all over me and I cherished every moment of the 1.5-2 hours. I was trying to stay in the moment, but was also trying to remember all the cute, funny, and smart things they were saying! I asked them if I could get some of their energy, and Rhylynne (the older one) said, “I’m going to give it to God!!” Not sure where she got that from as her parents do not believe in God…but her big brothers became Christians on their own. The younger one is Brooklynne… so they both have my middle name in their first name and same as my daughter (angel baby) Shaylynne Joy. I am Stefanie Lynne Rhyner and love my name. After taking my ex-husbands name and after going back to Rhyner, I said I would never change my name for a man. But now that I met Edward, I will take his name if and when he asks! Maybe hyphen ..we will see. My ex-husband did not want Rhyner on my Facebook or on my books when I publish. It was kind of weird I think, because I am so proud of to have the Rhyner name!

Anyway, back to the girls! They look like they could be fraternal twins even know they are not blood.. Brooklynne’s Mom was adopted by my Mom. Donna has the same middle name as well and when my sis named Rhy Rhy, she forgot it was my name too.. But I don’t care.. just happy they have my name! I took them to the snack bar to get ice cream, and I got the same Powder Puff girls thing they got. Rhy is so smart, she said why are the eyes gumballs if it is so cold and she was not done with ice cream yet and could not chew gum at the same time. So I took their ABC (Already been chewed) gum in my hand while they finished their ice cream! Ha ha! What a mess we all made ..good thing Marissa (Brookie’s Mom) had Costco hand wipes. Rhy spilled the popcorn that we got to share and I told her it’s okay, we still have more than half. She said, now the birdies have food! She is so cute and optimistic!

They took turns carrying my little Louis Vuitton purse around looking like the queens they are!

I took them to the bathroom and had them both wash their hands and walked them down to the playground and watched them play on the slides and fight like sisters! ha ha! Clients are coming out soon. Later Skaters!
