Best Day Ever

Yesterday was such an amazing day. I felt so blessed all day and was guided minute by minute by my angels. I only slept the night before for about 1.5-2 hours after taking benedryl, but then was up all night and day. I started my day at a beautiful meeting at AA on the potio. It was so nice to see so many familiar faces and friends. The birds chirping was so peaceful. It was a great meeting, I took notes the whole time. I then went to have breakfast at Poco and Mom’s on the patio with a water fountain and shade. Breakfast was delicious .. I get my usual which is chile relleno and eggs and hash browns with green chile sauce. I even got a green chile jar to go. The waitress was amazing. Then I came home to chill a bit before my most amazing pedicure ever with my Aunt! I got the volcano gold package with CBD scrubs and lotions. My toes are white cause I love it and also not sure what color I will do my nails next time. Then we went to Buffalo Wild Wings. I got a virgin Michelada with non alcoholic corona. Before the pedi, I did go pick up my sleeping meds at the pharmacy and got lots of IBprofen for my ankle that has been hurting (I fractured it when I was 17 years old and had to get surgery a year later). So it is just post traumatic arthritis, bone spurs, and scar tissue. I have excellent health insurance cause after being on disability for a year, I qualified for a Cigna Alliane Medicare plan and still have SMI (Severe Mental Illness) AHHCCS. I have a Visa card with about $150 for over the counter meds and also can buy soap and stuff with it. I then came home to chill for a bit. I was going to just listen to music or watch a show. Started to watch 911 but it is too triggering for me right now. I ended up laying down in bed and decided I need to go buy a new good bed because sleep is so important!! I was so excited cause last October I was approved for $7,000 worth of furniture on a furniture credit card and I did not even have.a job at that time. I canceled the big bedroom furniture order I placed last year tho. This time since I did not use the card again, my limit went down to $250. So I bought a super comfy bed and amazing bed frame with storage on another credit card. I wanted to buy new couches too, because my step Mom and Dad gave me a beautiful sectional leather couch but the recliners don’t work cause their Dogs chewed the cords. He kept saying he would pay someone to fix it, but hasn’t. I talked to my Dad this morning tho and he said if I can find someone to fix it, he will pay! I ordered the couches on a new furniture credit card, but I am going to cancel it. I spoke to an AA friend while laying back on the recliner in the furniture store telling her how blessed I am but still working through some trauma. She was so cool to answer and talk. I went home and was going to watch The Floor on Hulu, but I ended up calling a male AA friend and it was so good. I was able to tell him how blessed I am, and also tell him some trauma but he redirected me and motivated me to go swim laps at the gym. I got on my bright pink swimsuit and hit the pool at the gym. I swam laps, did my own water aerobics.. danced it out as my childhood BFF Crystal told me last October. When dealing with trauma, sometimes you have to keep your body moving! Then swam more laps.. Then went in jacuzzi and did squats and relaxed and ended up talking to this super cool older guy about tattoos. He loved all my tattoos. Went home, did some self care.. lotion and chill. And a friend came over to bring me something that will help with my anxiety. Love her…she’s the best. Gave her a big hug and said thank you so much you’re the best!!! Went to AA and had to leave a little early cause I forgot my walllet and needed to go back to the furniture store to finish purchasing my bed and frame and the couches. Went home, took some sleep meds…listened to some music and slept so Fucking good!! I did not even wake up in time to go to AA. Woke up at exactly 630am when it started. Coffee time!!
