Omg my angels are with me so strong! Damn, I got teary eyed writing that. I was talking to my Aunt Val on my way to work this morning on Bluetooth. She has always been one of my biggest supporters with my mental illness. I was talking to her about one of my near death experiences. When I was in crisis in April of this year (2025), I was having severe trauma flashbacks and was actually talking to my Aunt Val as I walked out my front door in the middle of the night to drive to the hospital. I was in desperate need of sleep and just wanted a doctor to give me meds to knock my ass out so I could stop thinking about my past trauma. I was literally losing my mind and in a really dark place. I needed help and I knew it! I did not know what else to do. So I hopped in my car and drove so fast to Tucson Medical Center. I felt my angels and God with me so strong! I was probably going 75/80 MPH down city streets with my horn blaring the whole time. It was intense and scary but also so amazing how much I knew I was protected by my angels. I felt Roget Tamietti and Don Wood with me who were my Dad’s good friends from the fire department. I also know my Gramps was with me who was a retired Tucson Fire Chief. I also used to be an EMT for 8 years so I knew how to drive code 3! I was going north on Craycroft and as I entered the intersection at Pima Rd, a semi truck was coming full force headed east. I must have had a red light but blazed through it. I swear God and my angels literally took the wheel and swerved to the right so fast and kept going! It was the most intense, scary, yet amazing feeling ever! The semi would have hit me on my drivers’ side. I should have been dead for sure. I then proceeded to TMC where I jumped the curb and went straight through the ambulance bay. I swerved as there were a couple EMTs walking out of the emergency doors and barely tapped my front of my car into a 4 foot pole. Everyone said that a crazy person drove into the hospital which is pretty much accurate. I know that for sure, because my sister was working at the hospital in a different unit and heard about it. She did not know it was me, but she later said she had a feeling it was me because she knew I was in crisis. Plus.. if I heard that story, I would definitely explain it as a crazy person running into the hospital! Cops surrounded me within seconds, and I was handcuffed and taken to the behavioral health hospital for a much needed 12 night stay where I was able to rest my mind and get some sleep and nourishment (after the first day which is the blog called Louis Vasquez which I want to change the name of because he doesn’t deserve to have his name on my blog). But on the way to work this morning when I was talking to my Aunt Val, I saw a license plate that ended in 911! Then a car right in front of me at a red light had a license plate that said AUNT DEB. I have 2 Aunt Debs. One is an angel and one is not doing too well. Holy shit though… my angels are with me so strong! Those are signs to me to let me know my angels are always guiding and protecting me. When I see signs and feel my angels more, it is usually a sign that I am about to go manic and into crisis. But I am doing really well! I am just going to continue to have faith and pray and be guided by God and my angels! If you read this long blog, thank you so much for your love and support. Feel free to please like/love it or leave me a comment to let me know! And if not, that is okay! I know who most of my supporters are and if you’re supporting in silence and praying and thinking about me…much love to you! I am so blessed to be alive to tell my story!!
